My seeds in the damp paper towel are still growing! One has sprouted, the other only has roots. My seeds in the pot haven't sprouted out of the dirt yet, hopefully they will soon!
I have two seeds in a black pot in potting soil, and the other two in a damp paper towel. The ones in the pot haven't sprouted out of the soil yet, but the ones in the paper towel are beginning to!
I've decided to start a new project, where I grow plants from seeds. I'm thinking about growing mostly plants that bear fruit, and maybe a few flowers. I definitely want to grow a lemon tree, and maybe some apples and peaches. My dad gardens every year, so he will be able to help me set up my plants.
I've decided to abandon my project; my life will remain in shambles just like all teenagers across America. I have a heavy workload this year, too heavy to worry about going to the gym while also preparing for college and trying to get enough sleep. I might try to work on these one goal at a time, but it's definitely too much for me to attempt all at once.
Week one was a horrible failure, and I am going to consider it my practice week. I managed to clean my living space and pack the night before, but I was not successful in completing all of my homework, going to the gym, or getting at least eight hours of sleep every night. I am really going to push for full task completions in week two.
Today is the first day of my Getting my Life Together in 30 Days project. Hopefully I can be successful in my first week! I have daily goals of finishing my homework, getting at least eight hours of sleep, and preparing everything the night before. My weekly goals are to go to the gym at least three times a week, clean and organize my living space, and to do hair and face masks. I also want to complete my FAFSA, college applications, and scholarships within these thirty days.
Before I actually get my life together, I need to figure out which parts of my life to get together. Considering its my senior year of high school, figuring out college applications and scholarships should definitely be a part of this. I want to stop procrastinating on my homework and develop better study habits (like cramming the night before). I also want to start living a healthier lifestyle by reducing my stress, getting an appropriate amount of sleep, and going to the gym.
